Alright, here we go...
As promised, some pictures for a game. It takes place in an office and is loosely based on a game by one of my friends. It really was a concept I liked, but he never did agree to make the changes I proposed to graphics, coding and dialogue, so I started making another game with a similar design.
Essentially you play an office-worker; and must progress through exploration, dialogue and problem-solving.
The first morning of work after a quite pecculiar weekend. Every so often, someone Liam doesn't know, has been trying to contact him. But when he picks up the phone, all he can hear is white noise. Once he arrive at the office he once again gets the call, but this time he hears a voice...
I really have only made one level. I just finished working on the inventory-system, but am yet to integrate it into the actual gameplay. ´So why release anything when I have barely made anything? Am I making people excited ( or at least I hope you are excited ) when it is not even sure I will finish it? I for one would like to look at this as a sort of commitment; now that I've said I am woking on something and people are going to look forward to it ( at least some people are actually viewing this blog I hope ), I am going to have to put a little effort into it or I will have to answer to... whoever choose to read what I write.
Essentially this is the game I failed to make for Ludum Dare, with the theme "Connected Worlds". I am still set on completing it though, especially since I promised myself to finish a game this year. Hopefully I will be able to complete this game before New Year's Eve, and if not... I will try to finish it even still.
The fact I have not successfully made a game in an embarrasingly long time will not get in the way!
